Beginning on August 25th with Das Rheingold and continuing with Die Walküre, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung Josh Clark enjoyed four dramatic nights of Richard Wagner's The Ring of the Neibelung opera series at the Seattle Opera in Seattle, Washington.

In total, it was over sixteen hours of opera which according to Josh "flew by because of the completely immersive blend of music and drama that Wagner created and the incredible performance and production quality of the Seattle Opera. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!"

The story of the The Ring of the Neibelung is based on some of the same mythology that J. R. R. Tolkien used as the basis for his Lord of the Rings series of books. Josh says, "If you like Tolkien's Lord of the Rings you should try Wagner's Ring Cycle."
